Newton has had many big 3 in the past and still manage to come back. Never underestimate Newton. Loosing Barlow and Foster will not make that big of a difference. If teams think that, they have already lost.

Yea, ok...

This year Silsbee is set at QB and the 4 headed ground game will give Newton trouble. If Foster can throw the ball against Newton as well as he did vs PNG, Silsbee will be in this game all night and have a chance to win. Silsbee 35 Newton 28

I know about Silsbee's run blocking scheme, but theyll have to do something different to keep the Newton DL Sylvester from getting penetration on the slower developing stretch plays.  If this can be done and Silsbee  runs the ball well, I can see Silsbee  pulling this off. I plan on making this game.

How is silsbee field these days? Did they ever establish  some roots?

Hope so. The floating floor was hard for the guys  to make cuts on.

This will be a great game. I do not think Newton will win easily like most expect. Silsbee will have a lot more depth than Newton this year and has a great backfield that will see the endzone quite a few times. Though, I think Newton will outscore Silsbee to find the win. Win or lose, Newton will be a better team from playing a solid and fast Silsbee team.
