I’m not an authority on the finer points of what experts call a “quick release”, but Burrows has impressed me with his qr.  Both QB’s have looked good.

Texas offense played well.  Gave them 7 points with the drop, and Herman gave them 7 points before the half.  Score isn’t indicative of how close this game was.  Oh well.  LSU is a really good team.  I’m expecting a 10-win season from the horns this year.

Good offensive ball game. A ton of work needs to be done defensively and I would like to see Sam get better at throwing the deep ball. I am happy that this Texas team will compete with anyone in the nation and things will continue to get better in Austin. Now I will definitely be making a trip to Baton Rouge next September to see revenge take place!

Neither team’s secondary is very good. At least not tonight.

The 3 and out before half by Texas hurt them. A little more than a minute to go complete a 2 yard pass, run out of bounds. 2nd and 3rd down incompletions. Punt on 4th. LSU scores again to go up 20-7.

Get out of the half down 13-7.
