i'd play on lcm's any day of the week..the players like the short stuff thats quick...if you slip you need better cleats or better fundamentals lol...but seriously bc's grass is notoriously high..it was like running in sand at home then when we went on the road like running on the track....

best field..silsbee hands down

Once it quits raining, HD's field drains off fairly quickly.  Unless you have field turf, water will stand on just about any field in southeast Texas.  The rain kept us from mowing the field in the spring.  Mowers were just to heavy.

when i was a freshman we played there and it had rained the night before and from the sideline to the track was at least 4 inches deep they may have fixed the drainage since then but im not sure

Drains were fixed last year.

to me our field wasnt as bad as you make it out to be........but i agree with whoever it was.........HIGH ISLAND BY FAR!!!!

yea weve fixed the draining so really now the only part that gets flooded is where you dont even need to be when your playing football and about the grass on our field during 7 on 7 it gets high but once we start getting ready for football its clean  son great grass you can see our stripes and no flood
