Unfortunately this might happen. The district is that competitive. By seasons end,  you will have 4-5 teams all with 30 wins. That is really good.

Friendswood- Both could lose

GCM has the easier path, but I suspect they will have a Play-In game for that 4th spot when it's all over with.

Yep friendswood is a loss for both programs. I would say Santa Fe is a loss for Crosby. GCM will get in and face BH in the first round.

I don't think GCM would beat BH in a first round match up.  Having watched both teams play a few times, BH is the favorite between the two teams.

GCM defeats Galena Park 3-0.

Santa Fe defeats Texas City 3-2.

Galveston Ball defeats Lee 3-0.

Yes that is correct in regards to whom each team is playing. I do not know when or if a play-in game will be. Pats need to come out and play their best versus Friendswood.

BH definitely benefits from an extremely weak VB district.  GCM and Crosby, a team not in the playoffs, were easily better than any of BH's district opponents.  It's great that BH wins their district, but the level of competition that they see within their district does not do them any real favors.

2. Santa Fe (32-14) defeats Lamar Consolidated 3-0.

3. Texas City (31-14) vs Manvel tonight. 

It would be awesome to see three 22-5a teams represented in the 3rd round.

someone explain to me how the location is decided.... how did Shadow Creek get to basically host this second round playoff game vs BH? How is that decided?  Seems like the higher seed should get "home court"...I thought for sure this game would be at LaPorte again.
