U know that loss really bothers me. Why simply have to agree with u. Bcz sometimes when u have a talented u have to go back to basics.blocking,tackling,conditioning,and just knowing ur assignments on defense.this team is too talented to get beat like this.

That strategy would have helped greatly in the Cuero game last year.

Newton had more penalties, I do believe than Silsbee.  Not sure about the turnover margin. Great teams, make good teams look bad. 

But Silsbee does have a good team. and will go deep.

That, all that. Add in lack of enthusiasm too, that was a huge takeaway from that game for me.

Newton has two corners that's are true cover corners.  They might give a few but not many.  Pull the safety up to cover middle and slants,  let JS and T seal the ends and dare them to run up the middle.  Silsbee had no answer.
