Yeoj Posted September 14, 2019 Report Posted September 14, 2019 Number 1 must have played QB for Nederland. They won't make the playoffs unless there's a change at that position. KF89 1 Quote

outanup Posted September 14, 2019 Report Posted September 14, 2019 I’m of the opinion coach is playing his best option at qb......Lots of all out blitzing tonight...... and no answer for it...oline definitely needs work but, not the only issue on the offensive side of the ball imo... Quote
prepballfan Posted September 14, 2019 Report Posted September 14, 2019 Wow Nederland down this year? No offense to Silsbee they are great. Quote
jake94 Posted September 14, 2019 Report Posted September 14, 2019 Nederland has a little talent, but are currently making way to many mistakes to win football games. O-Line, QB play, and definitely the secondary need to improve. Luckily, we get a week off and start the district campaign 0-0. We also need to find some leadership. That appears to be lacking at the moment. Congrats to Silsbee on a nice win. You guys got some nice talent over there. KF89 and prepballfan 1 1 Quote

The potential is there, if they can get the RBs loose they can eat up yards fast. Same for short passes. But they have to block long enough to do that and not kill themselves with penalties. Some of the QB bad decisions are due to the constant pressure. The D looked good against WOS but may have a confidence problem since the United game. Need to get that back. Quote

Man we been agreeing alot on here since I been back. +1. It's just like that for us here in PA somewhat. Definitely a re-building or re-tooling yr, district play should be better. outanup 1 Quote
ST413 Posted September 14, 2019 Report Posted September 14, 2019 Sounds like the exact things I have been hearing the last two weeks about my Tigers!! Good win tonight guys. Keep grinding!! I have had some criticism myself of some called plays and didn’t like the decision to run the stretch play on the 4th and short tonight. But I loved the play call on the next to last TD. jake94 1 Quote

BO DOG Posted September 14, 2019 Report Posted September 14, 2019 After observing Nederland's play-calling and preference of who receives the thrown balls, the Bulldogs are in for a long season if the mindset of the offensive play caller don't get real. He better figure out if last years scenario...in terms of WR play...will bring victories. There's a hot mess brewing and it ain't gonna cool down without common sense and fairness. Quote

The same scenario(WR choice) is brewing from last year and it'll be worse this time. Quote
