prepballfan Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 What do you think it look like? Quote
NHSBulldogFan Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 Offensive shootout I don't see much defense happening in this one. That said PNG should win this by a couple of scores Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 PN-G has a pretty decent defense believe it or not. I trust the Indians' defense to stop the Gander offense before the Gander defense can stop PN_G's. I see this one like this. Lee - 37 PN-G - 45 png9mon and NHSBulldogFan 2 Quote
png9mon Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 In an offensive shootout, defensive stops will be the key to victory. Lee QB is fast. Must contain him, then Indian Nation can get the victory!☺️ Quote
chorizo Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 Lee with the upset!!they will score much quicker than PNG!!! Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 If you love offense this is the game to attend next week. Quote
BHFAN Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 Trap game! No one knows what to expect from Lee. They have done well against lesser competition. But I believe the Indians hand them there 1st loss. Don’t sleep on the Ganders though Quote
BlackShirts5 Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 Im going against the grain here having watched Lee twice this year. PMG 48 Lee 20. Rez 1 Quote
png9mon Posted September 23, 2019 Report Posted September 23, 2019 If it rains Friday Night, and the way the weather has been going it probably will, PNG ground game must take over to eat clock & score. It should be very interesting match-up.. Quote
aki1994 Posted September 23, 2019 Report Posted September 23, 2019 I wonder if we will get any O Lineman back from injury? I know Garth is out for the season but I have seen 2 others not in pads either. Quote
prepballfan Posted September 23, 2019 Author Report Posted September 23, 2019 One is a possibility Quote
Hagar Posted September 24, 2019 Report Posted September 24, 2019 This is one of the more interesting games this week. The Ganders are on a roll, but I think the Indians win by 38-24. Quote
Reagan Posted September 24, 2019 Report Posted September 24, 2019 I have said before -- watch out for Baytown Lee! Quote
Rez Posted September 24, 2019 Report Posted September 24, 2019 Baytown Lee looks solid and scary. The one thing I will say is they don't seem to have been challenged yet. PNG will be a good test. PNG needs to play solid defense. If we get in a shootout, who knows what will happen. This will be good prep for Crosby either way. The best part is we have fancy new invisible ipads. No more getting caught. Everyone in the crowd gets one, even the little kids. outanup 1 Quote

Skip right to Crosby huh. Galena park challenged Lee in the 1st Half. Gashed the Lee defense on the ground and air. Lee couldn't tackle and GP didn't have great athletes with the ball. The GP Qb went down and no more scoring. Now GP couldn't stop Lee in the 2nd half either but I expect the District to have much better and deeper defenses then GP had. Splendora defense was way over matched. Westbury was well Westbury. I am rooting for a bunch of boys on that Lee team so hopefully they pull it off and make playoffs. Quote

I’m not skipping to anything — Do I think PNG will win? Yes. But I think Lee is going to be a force this season, so may the best team win. Quote
LEEROY Jenkinss Posted September 24, 2019 Report Posted September 24, 2019 35-17 PNG. Defense is going to show up. Watch Quote
Football Freak Posted September 25, 2019 Report Posted September 25, 2019 No dog in this fight... but I hope Lee pulls off this one. Would be nice to see them start moving back to relevance again. Man they used to be a force to be reckoned with and fun to watch. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
biaplayer Posted September 25, 2019 Report Posted September 25, 2019 not sure how to look at this game. Baytown Lee is undefeated and whipped everyone that they have played which really doesn't amount to much. On the other hand they might have something special going on over there this year. But one thing is for sure we will find out on Friday night. I like the way the 0-3 ned faithful are picking lee lol. That 0-3 record is leaving a bad taste in their mouth. Kinda curious as to what changes they are making to fix their predicament. lol I think both teams will put up points just depends on penalties and turnovers and who has the ball last. Come on Friday. Cougar14.2 Posted September 27, 2019 Report Posted September 27, 2019 Through three games Ijenea Woosley has 12 tds and 0 picks, he’s completing right at 70% of his passes while averaging almost 10ypc. He’ll probably be the district MVP this year. Including Woosley, Lee has three kids that are averaging over 9ypc. I don’t think Lee is the favorite in this game but I don’t think it’s really an upset if they beat PNG this year. chorizo and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote

As the statistics guru surely you have considered the quality of wins for Baytown Lee. I am quite sure if this were Crosby vs Lee you'd have adequately demonstrated the teams Lee has played vs the team PNG or in the scenario Crosby would have played? For example Westbury has scored exactly 7 points and given up 174. Just an example. I could not tell u who will win, but Id like to think that PNG is the favorite and definitely the Indians have played better competition. Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 27, 2019 Report Posted September 27, 2019 Png had better run the ball effectively tonight and run clock, you do not wanna get into a shootout with Lee. Quote
outanup Posted September 27, 2019 Report Posted September 27, 2019 I'm thinking a close game in this one.....Edge to the injuns for sure but. it wouldn't suprise me if Lee outscores em.... Quote
