The HoopsGiving Classic will take place on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Houston Christian High School 

9:30a Ridge Point vs Kinkaid

11a Atascocita vs Westbury Christian 

12:30a Concordia Lutheran vs SA Wagner

2p Port Arthur Memorial vs Cy Creek

3:30p St. Thomas vs Silsbee

5p Yates vs SA Cornerstone Christian 

6:30p Morton Ranch vs Dickinson

8:30p Houston Christian vs Mayde Creek

I think I've been to three of these in a row, maybe four.  I will try and be there this year as well.

Silsbee could be in the 4th round of the football playoffs. Maybe very short handed.

I see 2 starters out for sure still in football if we make it that far. Could be Bush and a bunch of sophomores and freshman.

IF the upcoming underclasses are as good as many of you say they are, they shouldnt miss a beat while football is going on

Last year's soph. and freshmen class were not the classes I have been referring to.

This year's freshmen and 8th grade is the next good group so I highly doubt they will be any help come this November.

One of those upcoming classes is the 8th graders.

The kids that are in high school now still need a year of experience under their belts, I think. 

One kid who was clearly the best player on JV last year should be on varsity this year. He'll help some. Won't get to see "real" Silsbee for a while in basketball.

Board has been slow. Needs a lit gas on the coals.

Freshman Jones is playing on JV so he will be getting some good time come Basketball season for Silsbee . And Thomas will have played some big's before the football guys get back.. Silsbee will be scrappy as always. But like most are saying next year's team and the 3 years to follow Silsbee will be Scary good..
