Spring Legacy Sports Science Academy 34 West Hardin 6/FINAL

That was an extremely good team WH played last night. LSSA ain’t no joke. Big, fast and physical and their kids didn’t play both ways. Hats off to the Oilers, the score doesn’t really tell the whole story. Both teams played really well. LSSA plays newton this coming week, that should be a good game to watch. West Hardin plays Evadale at home for the district opener. Last year’s game was a close one and this year’s should not disappoint.

I’m saying comparing teams it will be a good match up. Similar size, speed and depth. Who shows up on Friday night and who don’t will make the difference.

You're telling me that you have seen both these teams play...and you think they are almost the same team?

I haven’t seen newton play this year. I’m a big fan of their program and certainly know what they are capable of doing on any given day. However, it’s only an opinion, LSSA is not going to be an easy win. Do some research on these type schools and you’ll know where I’m going. WH has just started playing against these teams and their really good. These are recruited kids from all over. They don’t have to abide by the same UIL rules we all know and hate.  They pay to play at these schools and the good programs that have big names tied to them are as solid as any in the state. Look into some of the rosters and if your a football fan you should recognize the likes of multiple NFL players last names. If I’m  not mistaken, LSSA were state champions in their classification last year. In saying that, if it wasn’t for following and watching WH Friday night, I know what game I would be at.  I don’t know what newton has this year but LSSA will bring an offense and defense with multiple back ups to the game. And I mean these kids don’t play both ways. They are well rested on both sides of the ball. You won’t see offensive kids playing defense and vise versa.

I'm not trying to be rude...but you really think this team is as good as Newton?! That means you think that this team could/should beat WOS and Silsbee if they played them! I could be wrong, and I'll eat crow if I am, but Newton will score as many as as they want on this team.
