Alpha Wolf Posted October 7, 2019 Report Posted October 7, 2019 Good solid win for the Bruins, the only thing that I seen that they need to shore up is there PAT kicking. United was able to block a few and that could be costly down the road somewhere for them.  82 5A State Champs and BMTSoulja1 2 Quote

That was downright ridiculous how they missed that many. Hopefully it’s a point of emphasis moving forward and Peevey may need to starters out there to block, snap and hold. not backup players Quote

BigD 95 Posted October 7, 2019 Report Posted October 7, 2019 The kid who was snapping on FG's was playing his very first game of the season, and had only practiced a few days this season. He is one of the kids who was in the wreck. Being his first action, coupled with a wet ball for much of the first half may have been the issue. He will get it together with more practice/reps. The QB Yowman was snapping on FG's earlier in the season, and it was working fine, but too risky to have your QB doing that. They will get it corrected. Also keep in mind that barring a setback, arguably the Top RB (Holland) in the area will be back in a few weeks, so this WB offense has the potential to be even more scarier moving forward. The other younger RB's has filled in very well, but Holland is special and he is a huge mismatch in the passing game against most anybody's Linebackers. Another weapon is on the way. coach bear Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Yes blocking wasn’t tight, allowed crevices from interior to be exploited. Will or could cost a game. Kowboy98 1 Quote

Can’t address in practice if it costs a playoff game. May have to stick with Yowman snapping unfortunately Quote
