TexasHSFootball Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 As a hobby, I like to monitor the sports media business and I enjoy the heck out of it. I can access the weekly assignments for Fox or any other network such as ESPN on a regular basis. And over the last year or so I have noticed a consistent pattern and absolutely bugs the heck out of me and I often find it quite annoying for two cities close to each other as Beaumont and Houston are. This pattern I have seen is the different game assignments for KRIV in Houston and KUIL in Beaumont every single week when it comes to Fox Saturday Baseball.GAME SUMMARIES:1=Angels @ Yankees (HD) - 69% — Kenny Albert, Joe Girardi2=Twins @ White Sox - 11% — Thom Brennaman, Mark Grace3=Braves @ Padres - 19% — Joe Buck, Tim McCarver, Ken RosenthalBeaumont TX KUIL 3 Houston TX KRIV 1Basically, KUIL will get the Braves/Padres game while KRIV gets Angels/Yankees this week. Why is it different every week? It has puzzled me and a few others that see this pattern on a consistent basis. Anyone with an answer please solve this mystery. My friends who also see this have raised a big stink and gripe about it.
