pakronos Posted October 9, 2019 Report Posted October 9, 2019 i believe PAM might have a shot. why?? The weather. not because of its going to be a little chilly(50's), but because of the threat of a strong north wind. that should help slow NC passing attack. If the man behind the curtain don't get cute with the ball and keep it to the little screens, they might be okay. also any heavy passing teams out there, do yall think this will be a problem for teams like West Brook? I'm more worried about the NC QB killing us with his legs than his arm per the footage I've watched. The wind shouldn't be too bad, right now they have it 8-15mph on Friday night in this area, shouldn't be a problem for anyone in the area. Austin1985 and BoGip7387 2 Quote
Lightning/Eagle Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 What worries me is the last time NC played on a day when a cold front blew in NC got blown out on the road against BH. Totally different team I know. Quote
Lightning/Eagle Posted October 10, 2019 Report Posted October 10, 2019 Players to watch for NC are 9, 10, 11, and 88. Only one of them is a senior. Who should I keep my eye on for PAM? Quote

The last 'weather change' game I saw, PAM was on the listening end of a 42-21 beat down from LaPorte in Pasadena....... Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 11, 2019 Report Posted October 11, 2019 This wacky forecast keeps changing, now it's 3-15mph wind with gusts of 20-30mph, with the gusts it would be a problem if your stadium is a wind tunnel, I know for us it was a lil windy last yr for the playoff game, didn't affect passing but it did affect punting/kicking for both squads, so that aint good. At least now the rain looks to push thru earlier. Quote

If you don't think we have a chance in good conditions, why would bad ones make a difference? Do Memorial block or tackle better in bad conditions? I think we have a chance because I think the defense is playing better and tackling better. The line is playing better, and if we stop all them drops we can cause some problems. 18 drops in 2 games and still had 400 yards in both of them. Quote
