I wasn’t there so my opinion would be worthless, but 18 points while not enough to win, I wouldn’t say that’s a horrible day on offense. Hagar 1 Quote

Of course it should have been 21. 0-3 on 2 pt conversion after 0-2 on 2 pt conversion last week. Offense looked pretty good from a player standpoint for the 1st 1/2. I’ll be nice and leave it at that except to say we left so much on the table. Talented group of kids with lots of abilities. Wish we would tap into some of them. Quote

Lumberton doesn’t have a ton of talent, and never really has except for a few years here and there. It’s just the way it is. Quote
raideroldtimer Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 One thing I don't understand about our team. We have two of the best soccer teams in the state but for some reason this year we can't seem to find a field goal kicker? If one of the boys can't do it then recruit a girl. Raider27 1 Quote
LTFALCON Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 Didn't miss the score by much. My prediction was 35 - 14. Quote

How is a RB coming out if the backfield on a wheel route a trick play? How about you give the coaches credit for a good play call and give the kids credit for executing the play? Hagar 1 Quote
EagleFan2004 Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 Huffman is a dang good well coached team. They will go 10-0 if they keep that RB healthy. I predict Lumberton winning out in district play. SmashMouth 1 Quote

Great call and players executed perfectly. Huffman coaches and players deserve credit for the win. They were the better team and should go 10-0. Lumberton has nothing to be ashamed of. Just have to protect the ball better and keep getting better at executing. No need to press the panic button. SmashMouth and EagleFan2004 2 Quote
