Coach Foster at Big Sandy deserves some credit. He always seems to get the most out of the group he has, and is never afraid to play up in competition.

Good pick, a lot of people forget about the small school guys

Winning and Xā€™s and Oā€™s are whatā€™s visible the most. Teaching life lessons is also important whichĀ usually goes undetected. Coaches can make aĀ big differenceĀ in SOME kids lives. SuccessfulĀ coaches usually have good relationships with players that are grown and have familyā€™s of their own.Ā

Not sure about what GreenĀ had at Northshore but I do know the rest had top tier players

Highest rankedĀ player in the state (Roach)Ā not from Dallas (#5 in his class) who was top 50 nationally. Ā Another kid (Foster)Ā who was top 20 in the state. Ā FirstĀ went Power 5 (Texas), other went Power 6 (SMU). Ā His son also hadĀ a lot of game.Ā

Started a true 5 Guard lineup but all of them could defend. Jalin Hart and Brandon Etienne, who both knew how to put the ball in the basket,Ā Ā rounded out the starting 5 withĀ theĀ guys you listed above.Ā Brandon Green used to show up to AAU practices with a weight vest on under his hoodie. Wasnā€™t fun being guarded by him.Ā
