Lmao... he didn’t build anything over here, trust me. This new coach has these kids playing extremely well. Just look at the total points and offense they have put together this year. Coach Taylor is the man.

The new coach inherited a group of mostly upperclassmen. You can dislike a guy all you want, but to discredit what he did for the kids while he was there is just showing ignorance mixed with being butthurt. If the current coach is some guru, then WH will go farther than 1 and done in the playoffs.

Well congrats Oilers, I really though the dogs would've made this a better game after how they played last week

Yeah it was pretty one sided from kickoff. Colmesneil did move the ball on their initial drive with the lineman/RBs but after a defensive adjustment by WH it was not even close after that. 4 TDs called back in the first half. The offense has proven to move the ball with ease and defense playing solid right now. WH will have to clean up the penalties this week against Lovelady. If they do that it could be a good game.

The players are saying yes, the support from the community has been off the charts and school spirit has reached an all time high and at this point that’s all that matters.

Your previous post was talking about points and offense they’ve put up. This year they are 4-4 scoring 182 points and giving up 194. Last year they were 5-3 and scored 207 and gave up 128. One of those wins was a forfeit to Sabine pass. So let’s say they were 4-3. so the points per game was higher.

was the community support for day nonexistent from day one?

They played a couple better teams this year than last so that does come into play. At least ten TDs called back. New coaches record is already better in his first 8 games than the last years coach’s beginning record. Kids are playing harder for him. It’s a different atmosphere all the way around. But at this point does it really matter? Lol...
