Davidp0403 Posted October 19, 2019 Report Posted October 19, 2019 If I done math right a Ned win over Vidor, with a png win over Santa Fe clinches spots for Ned and png having own tiebreakers over Vidor. Bh win over Crosby clinches them a spot. Quote
Davidp0403 Posted October 19, 2019 Author Report Posted October 19, 2019 The bidistrict teams already basically set. With manvel, ft. Bend Marshall, Ft. Bend willow ridge, and Houston sterling, just positioning hasn’t been set Quote
Bigdog Posted October 20, 2019 Report Posted October 20, 2019 Still a lot of scenarios left. Next week will cut down the possibilities Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 20, 2019 Report Posted October 20, 2019 I only see one 1st round win for 12-5AD2. (Sterling) navydawg31 and CCbigfan 2 Quote
Blockdownandkickout! Posted October 20, 2019 Report Posted October 20, 2019 I think it is safe to say my rangers are done lol Quote
The Lake Posted October 20, 2019 Report Posted October 20, 2019 5A D2 is going to be really interesting. I think everyone can agree that Aledo will be in the championship game from the region 1-2 side of the bracket. Calallen is the favorite out of region 4. Region 3 has Manvel, FB Marshall, A&M Consolidated, Hunstville and maybe Barbers Hill or PNG could make it interesting. My prediction is Aledo vs. Manvel Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 21, 2019 Report Posted October 21, 2019 I think it's wide open outside of FBM. Quote

Wouldn’t it create a 3 way tie point differential scenario with the 2 top teams filling the last playoff spots? If that is correct then I hope Vidor can play Ned to a close game because we already have a +10 point win over Crosby. Or we could just win out and take that 3rd spot so we don’t make everything so complicated lol. Quote

I know if Ned beats Vidor and Crosby beats BH, png beating Santa Fe .That is going to cause some craziness with 2 weeks to go. Bh, png, Ned, and Crosby would all be tied for 1st at 4-1 with 2 weeks and would put Vidor in a bad position Quote
Davidp0403 Posted October 22, 2019 Author Report Posted October 22, 2019 I know 4th place in this district is likely to play manvel and a L, 3rd place gets ft. Bend Marshall and a L. 1st and 2nd place opponents should be decided last week when willow ridge and sterling plays. Those are toss up games there Quote
oldman Posted October 22, 2019 Report Posted October 22, 2019 So you are saying Willowridge and Hou. Sterling are better than 12-5A(D2) 1st/2nd place teams Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 25, 2019 Report Posted October 25, 2019 Early 4th qtr still 29-26 Manvel. Sterling just missed a 35yd fg. Quote

aki1994 Posted October 25, 2019 Report Posted October 25, 2019 Didn't Crosby play Manvel within a score back when Crosby was struggling? Quote

Davidp0403 Posted October 26, 2019 Author Report Posted October 26, 2019 In 12 5a2, After tonight’s games. Bh, png, Ned all clinched. 4th spot still in play between 3 teams. Crosby, Vidor , and Lee. Crosby beats Ned- they’re in ned beats Crosby, Vidor wins out- they’re in ned beats Crosby, lee wins out-they’re in. crosby- ned and lee remaining vidor- lee and Dayton remaining lee- Crosby and vidor remaining Quote
Davidp0403 Posted October 26, 2019 Author Report Posted October 26, 2019 Correction. Crosby has to win plus vidor win to clinch. Lee would just have to win out to get in Quote

Ned can still miss the playoffs if they lose to Crosby by more than 6 points, lose to PNG, and Vidor wins out. Quote
pdawg119 Posted October 28, 2019 Report Posted October 28, 2019 Also, not only does Lee have to win out to make the playoffs, but they also need to hope that neither PNG nor Nederland lose out, as the tiebreakers are not in their favor. Quote

You would still need Crosby to lose to Baytown Lee for that scenario to happen. jake94 1 Quote

I started to do this same kind of post but got a headache thinking about it. But here's a shot at it: BH 5-0 PNG 4-1 Ned 4-1 Crosby 3-2 Vidor 2-3 Baytown Lee 2-3 Games remaining: BH - ( PNG , Santa Fe )- Head to head wins: (Ned, Lee, Vidor, Crosby) - BH can clinch a share of the DC at least with a win at PNG, the worst they can do is third place due to head to head over most of the other teams. PNG - (BH, Nederland) - Head to head wins ( Vidor (+8), Lee (+17) ) - Losses (Crosby -6) . PNG can also possibly get a share of the DC this week with a win over the Hill. They can also still miss the playoffs due to the head to head loss vs Crosby. NED - (Crosby, PNG) - Head to head wins (Vidor (+4), Lee (+21) )- Losses (BH - 21). A win this week would put the Dogs in the playoffs and potentially in a 3- way tie for first. If they lose both of their last two depending on what Crosby does in the final game they could miss the playoffs. Crosby - (Ned, Lee) - Head to head wins (PNG (+6) )- Losses (Vidor (-10), BH (-21)). Crosby is currently in fourth with a 1 game lead on Vidor . They need to win at least 1 or their last two to get in and Vidor lose one of their last two. Vidor - (Lee, Dayton) - Head to head wins (Crosby (+10) ) -Losses( PNG -8, BH -14, Ned -4). Vidor is going to need to win out and also need some help from Nederland and Lee to get in. One issue with that is Lee is tied with them in the standings, so they will need the head to head win and then can root for Lee to beat Crosby. Lee- (VIdor, Crosby) - Head to head wins (none) - Losses (PNG (-17) , BH (-21) , Ned (-21). Pretty simple for Lee, win out and they are in. VP10 1 Quote
