1..Ozen-Bring Bakk pretty much the Same Team from Last Years State Semifinal Team..Watch out for Decarlos Franks and Jacolby Joseph..Also Willie Jefferson 6-8 Junoir..

2..Kountze..Devin Bray should Have a Outbreak year..With Alot of help noone knows about look for the Junoir Class to Lead the Way and Get this Team Bakk 2 Tyler...

3..East Chambers-Tramain Thomas Enuff Said..Also 2 Very Good Post Players in Raymond and McDonald..Should look to get bakk 2 Tyler with this squad..

4..Memorial-Jcovan Brown is a Beast and has sum Help should be the 2nd Best Big School Team in the Area...But Jcovan Attiude could hold this team bakk.

5..WestBrook-Very Solid Team that should Be in the Hunt for a playoff spot in there District...Really love there Defense should be one of the Top Defensive teams this year..

6..Silsbee-One of my Sleeper Teams this year..Solid PG in Shannon Robinson..Also has Good shooters but they could be weak inside thats the only thing i see hurting this team..

7..Newton-...Great PG...up in Coming..Also hass A very Good Post Player that will Get Better should make a Run in the Playoffs should get knocked out by Kountze or E.C.

8..Warren..solid Team have a Great pG...Also some Good Shooters in Sims and Andrews I like to see this Team make a Runn in the Playoffs but not to far..

9..Central..Have a Very Good Wing Combo and should recover at the PG with the Lost...Look for them to make some noise against Ozen..

10...Big Sandy...They Have one of the Best Post Players in the Area with some Coaching on getting this Kid the Ball he will Cause Mixx Matches and Give some of his Teammates open looks and 4rm What ive Seen they can shoot the bAll well..

Are u serious...Ozen...Kountze...East Chambers and Memorial will Beat H=J..by 25+..Please tell me what do H.J have..No Donahoe...No 6-10....Bernard and Burrell.Neither of them are players that can put up 25 or more a night...Sorry but i think i got this one right H-J prolly could beat some of the teams that barely made this list but none of the top 5...

i have to agree... HJ could beat everyone on that list except Ozen and Memorial... they may also lose to Central and WB but those would be closer games... you said... "Please tell me what does HJ have"...

they Have... several starters back and alot of strong players that were on the bench last year returning... we may not have another Donahoe, but we have several other good players... I believe Burell and Bernard will take up Donahoes spot as the main point scorer... and i believe both of them are capable of scoring 20+ points a night...

and your dreaming if you think Kountze or East Chambers would beat HJ by 25 or more... i seriously doubt that Ozen or PAM could do that either...

you have 4 24-2A teams on there... if teams in that district are that good to be on the top 10 list of SETX (an area that last year had 2 state titles, a State Runner up, 2 Regional Finalists, and a Regional Semi-finalists) then one of those teams had better win state... i agree with Kountze and EC being on the list, but i just dont see Warren or Newton being on there... I'm not trying to take anything away from those teams, they may be very good...all im saying is that there are better teams...

Your lookin at Kountzes team from last year,this group doesn't even compare.I have got to watch the HJ team alot this summer and they are gonna be solid.I think the Kountze HJ game may be a 25 point contest but Kountze would be on the wrong end of the score.No disrespect to West Hardin because Copeland is gonna be a special player but I haven't seen anyting to go with him.They will struggle big time as defenses concentrate on him.The SETXSLAM( which is mostly HJ players along with Paul Sims )played West Brook earleir this year in one of the hoopinsider tourneys and beat them without Burrel or Sungren.Bernard,Burrell and Fontenot can all go for 25 on any given nite.Its hard to combine 1-a thru 5-a and get top 10.I like Warrens chances in the 1-a thru 3-a top 10.I think EC has to be the small school team to beat this year.

They still could, HJ is the best small school team in this area.While Donahoe was one of a kind Burell,Bernard and Fontenot can all score.Add Weldon,Payne,Lil Stevie and Sungren and you have a very solid group of guards.While it is impossible to pick top 10 teams in July,my small school top 10 would start with HJ.

1-HJ

2 -Silsbee

3-EC

4-WOS

5-Kountze

6-Warren

7-Big Sandy

8-Newton

9-Woodville

10-Spurger

I don't know enough about the big schools other than Ozen,Memorial and Central to even rate the big school guys but this would be a pretty accurate small school poll.Not sure of Kelly's enrollment but they would be one of the better small school clubs if thats where they went.

well lets do this... say that J'Coven is hurt and can't play and Donahoe has a night like he did against Hamshire-Fannete (and scores 40something points)... who wins that one?

In that scenario vs. Memorial....HJ has a shot.  BUT... that is a PERFECT scenario for HJ in that example....Head to head with everyne in tact, HJ has NO chance...

3..Silsbee -Seen this Team this Summer they are Something to Watch..They have a couple upcoming Freshman that can help them out right now on the Varsity level..

4..Hardin Jefferson - Don't kno much bout H-J this year thats why i have them #4..But i kno they have Burrell and Bernard....I think Bernard is overrated all he can do is shoot and thats wenn he is open other than that i don't see any more legit players on this team..Its hard to Replace What Ryan Donhoae did 4 this team and i don't think they have anyone that can pentrate to the Basket like he did..

5...West Orange Stark..I don't kno anything bout this team i kno they don't have Netherly and i kno they are going to be okay with all the athletes that go to there school...

Kountze's defense will be solid but I don't think it's anywhere close to what is has been the last 3-4 years.There chances will depend on how Brey matures.EC matches up very well with them at the post and Tramain is the best guard in the district.Plus EC has already proven they can compete.I hope I'm wrong but I'm afraid 24-aa goes thru Winnie this year.

Well I don't think H-J is going to have what it takes to make it...I think Donahoe was jus to much of the team but They couldn't beat Kountze Trust me..Only teams that could be Kountze in this Area is Ozen and Proly Memorial...

HJ could (last year anyway) beat all of these teams except maybe Ozen and Memorial.

lets talk about next season and not the past HJ cant beat them teams they once could
