Upper number for 4A D2 was 789 at last realignment.  BC turning in 796 today.  It would be nice if we could drop down to 4A D2, but I have a bad feeling we'll just stick around as the smallest school in 4AD1.

Once more, I'd rather be out-athleted by Silsbee and WOS that sat on by a bunch of fat kids in Lumberton, Livingston, Splendora, Huffman, etc....

Luckily, y’all get out athleted by whomever y’all play, so I guess in those terms you should be ecstatic! 😳

I don’t want to lose Vidor for Lumberton in 12-5a. Vidor, if you stay, I promise I will call Nederland your rival, and won’t even make fun of you that much for it. [insert sappy 80s break-up song].

Freakin funny...

Just for reference, these were the cutoff numbers in last realignment:

This is the hidden content, please

6A          2190 and above

5A DI     1840-2189

5A DII    1150-1839

4A DI     790-1149

4A DII    505-789

3A DI     335-504

3A DII    225-334

2A DI    161.5- 224

2A DII   105-161.4

1A DI     55.5-104.9

1A DII    55 and below

Other than 6A, the lower numbers in 5ADII are getting hosed.  There’s a 689 student difference.  Compared to the other numbers, that’s crazy.

No joke! Kinda hard to compete with that difference. If you go by the law of averages.

If these numbers hold true and West Sabine drops to 2A D2 do you see them going south in a district with HD, Evadale, West Hardin and Burkeville or going north in a district with Mt. Enterprise, Grapeland and Lovelady?

New Caney and Porter should stay in 5A D1.

Yall should opt-up to 6A 😂😎😁

Our 5A D1 district should be really interesting.

Port Arthur Memorial

Beaumont United

GCM

RSS

KP

NC

Porter

And possibly La Porte or Crosby.

That’s a lot more competitive than this past one.

So how does Beaumont ISD lose around 600 kids?

United lost 429.5 students and West Brook lost 144.  Did a new school like an Early College HS open up or where are all the kids going?  Just hard to figure these numbers out.

Mass exodus to the Htown/DFW suburbs or SETX country towns??
