kinda knocked all the wind out of any splendora sails. The Huffman defense started teeing off after that.

With the way Baytown Lee beat splendora, I kind expected this outcome.

Splendora seemed like they could have competed.

A bad turnover and a demoralizing tipped option pitch that resulted in a defensive TD for Huffman just knocked the fire out of them.  Once they got behind, they started throwing the ball and making some mistakes.  Snowball effect.

Not to overlook the Huffman defense though.  They play tough and there wasn't many explosive plays from Splendora.  Splendora had quite a few 3rd downs and they converted a lot.  But they weren't going to keep up with a shootout.

Huffman man handled them from snap 1. Splendora is a descent football team and Huffman handled business liked they should have. Huffman handles LCM in the same manner as they have the entire season! Huffman 35 - LCM 14

I would say Splendora isn't  the best team they have faced (I think thats Concordia Lutheran).
