HF uses the Morris kid waaaayyy to much. He runs 85% of the time and hands off or throws a pass the rest. If they have any shot for a close game vs WOS, HF may want to not run Morris in the ground. JaspD55 Posted November 2, 2019 Report Posted November 2, 2019 Tough loss for HF, they had two weeks to prepare for match up with Tigers. Tigers had limited practice time past week with injuries to starters, and dealing with the storm. If they can bounce back, with that kid at QB, anything is possible. If they can beat WOS by 8 pts or more, they will b seated #1 in district. Either way ,they will b a force to deal with in the playoffs. Quote

Now the bounce was gratuitous but Silsbee had at least 3 other players ready to scoop and score on that play. No H-F players was anywhere near the ball. Quote

BADSANTA Posted November 2, 2019 Report Posted November 2, 2019 I caught the 2nd and 4th qtr online. HF seems like they have improved their football program. Cheers to them getting to at least the 2nd round. They haven't had much success but I think they will win a game or 2 in the playoffs for sure. Quote

JaspD55 Posted November 3, 2019 Report Posted November 3, 2019 One thing for sure , if HF scores 21 pts against WOS, they will win. WOS got to be physically beat up after playing Liberty. Liberty does a lot of extra stuff in the pile verbally and physically, thats the reason for kids from opposing teams getting un sportsman like penalties. If Liberty makes 4th seed and plays Jasper 1st round, get ready for some ejections at the end of that game. dj 1 Quote
