Yeah WOS is a little better on defense than Silsbee. HF uses the Morris kid waaaayyy to much. He runs 85% of the time and hands off or throws a pass the rest. If they have any shot for a close game vs WOS, HF may want to not run Morris in the ground. The offense goes with him it seems.

Tough loss for HF, they had two weeks to prepare for match up with Tigers. Tigers had limited practice time past week with injuries to starters, and dealing with the storm. If they can bounce back, with that kid at QB, anything is possible. If they can beat WOS by 8 pts or more, they will b seated #1 in district. Either way ,they will b a force to deal with in the playoffs.

Football gods were looking down on Silsbee.Looked like HF was going to pull it out or go into overtime.Give S[lsbee credit for blocking that FG but the football gods for the right bounce.lol

Not so sure that kicker was going to make that 41 yarder if it wasn't blocked. Not a very good leg.

I was thinking OT. Silsbee called the timeout to set up that special block play. Was executed perfectly.

I agree but in this case I put more emphasis on the execution of the block play. Now the bounce was gratuitous but Silsbee had at least 3 other players ready to scoop and score on that play. No H-F players was anywhere near the ball.

I caught the 2nd and 4th qtr online. HF seems like they have improved their football program. Cheers to them getting to at least the 2nd round. They haven't had much success but I think they will win a game or 2 in the playoffs for sure.

One thing for sure , if HF scores 21 pts against WOS, they will win. WOS got to be physically beat up after playing Liberty. Liberty does a lot of extra stuff in the pile verbally and physically, thats  the reason for kids from opposing teams  getting un sportsman like penalties. If Liberty makes 4th seed and plays Jasper 1st round, get ready for some ejections at the end of that game.
