Ramsey and his Warren Warriors are very optimistic heading into the 2007 season. Last season Warren finished 4-6 and 3-3 in 24-2A play. The Warriors lose QB Kinney Granger (Navarro) but coach Ramsey expects Travis McBee to fill in at that position. RB Brazos Morris is expected to have a good year for the Warriors on offense this season. Also look for Robert Hulett to have a good season on the offensive line as well.Defensive SummaryThe Warriors welcome 6 starters back on defense in 2007. Last year Warren allowed 19 points per game. The above mentioned Brazos Morris also plays defense at the LB position and last season had 96 tackles for the Warriors. Also look for Brody Parker to have a good season at the LB position. The Warrior secondary will be led by DB Brandon Young. A key player on the defensive line will be Cody Knighton.Warren will open the 2007 season in week 0 on the road at 3A Huntington. They will then return home for a tough 3 game stretch against West Hardin, Woodville, and Groveton to close out non-district play. The Warriors open 24-2A play on September 28 at Kountze.
