Silsbee vs Smithville

This game will be a lot closer than the Shepherd game. But I’d expect Silsbee to win by 2-3 scores. Smithville moves the ball well through the air and has some good speed. Hopefully the Silsbee defense is up for the challenge

I predicted this one, gonna b a fun week. Tiger coach raised up in Giddings, they hate Smithville. La Grange is a rival, but they hate Smithville. Goes back over 50 years of sneaking into each town and burning one anothers Bonn Fires, at homecomings. For the most part Smithville has been a losing program, it' always considered a disgrace to get beat by them. Hopefully Silsbee can figure out how to win this one.

Dont underestimate Silsbee either. That 6-4 record isnt a reflection of the talent. Loses to PNG, Newton, are WOS are vs all ranked school at that time.

Saw some YouTube footage of Smithville. Not a bad team at all  but they only show highlights of blowout wins vs very very poor teams.

Was at the Smithville/Sweeny game. Sweeny came out in second half and decided to run at them. Smithville had a hard time with power run game. Sweeny never stopped Smithville. Zone read, qb iso and sweep, jets, play action passes.
