Top 3 receivers in their district. All over 400 yards receiving. Silsbee has got to put pressure on the QB to stop that passing game. Can’t let him get that ball off.

Silsbee hasn't been great against the pass but have gotten better since the last game before district.

Not good..  reminds me of the Spring Hill game.   They absolutely need to get to this QB.  But they'll have to contend with the running game though.  I think Silsbee will be fine if they get  a couple of stops...

I hope your right. The key to winning any game is not just how much you can score. You have got to limit your opponent. Defense has got to step up big time and get to that QB.

Finally got to see Silsbee play.  Fairly typical Tiger team.  Good pursuit of the ball.  Very talented skills positions.  I think they are every bit as good as Jasper if not better.  
 

Smithville will have a hard time this week if they can’t protect the edge.  That is my prediction.

Smithville has some decent athletes. It suppose to rain Friday and be cold. Sometimes it's hard to pass when it's cold and wet. I'm still going with Silsbee 38-23

Well, as we all know, jungle cats LOVE the rain.  Their prey can't detect them stalking.  Undoubtedly the Smithville coach knows what happened last year so if it's even threatening to sprinkle he'll be squawking.  "Lightning!  I think I saw lightning!"

No they don't.

They have run 472 offensive plays so far this season. 270 rushes, 202 pass attempts.

That's 43% passing plays.

Silsbee should have this.

Smithville hasn't played anybody impressive this year for me to be too worried.

The only way the Tigers lose is if our pass defense is terrible.
