Big Game - Woodville at HJ

Yea, I know Lady Hawks loaded,  but what about Woodville?  I haven't seen this this year,  but I know they were really good last year.  Did they lose a lot to graduation?

The game times have changed for this one tonight.  JV Boys at 5:00, JV Girls at 6:15---Aux gym.  Varsity boys vs Hitchcock at 6:15 in the main gym and Varsity girls at 7:30 in the main gym.  Woodville returned 9 of there 10 girls off of last year's team.

Love to see the girls game as the "prime time" game!   Wish more schools would do this every now and then.  These girls work just as hard and deserve that kind of respect!  Props to HJ!

It will be a great chess match, that is for sure. The battles at the guard positions will be a big factor, but my main question is how will HJ deal with the very talented big Woodville has. Coaching matchup will be a great battle as well, the game within the game, if you will.

Would like to see this game, but my duty as a dad has me driving to Cleveland to watch the slightly less stature in size game of Lumberton @Cleveland, lol.

Good luck to both Woodville and HJ, hope for a safe, clean game by both teams.

Should be a good one!  HJ has a lot of length at the guard position.  I think it will come down to turnovers and who can hit the outside shot.  I give an edge to HJ in guard play, but Woodville's big is a monster down low.  I think this will be a chest match between two teams who love to put a lot of pressure on you defensively and love to get out and run.
