AggiesAreWe Posted July 13, 2007 Report Posted July 13, 2007 Dawie, the winner of the 2007 Silsbee Men's Golf Association Invitational and not to mention a 1st team Ping All American out of Lamar, shot an erratic round of +2, 73, tied for 40th after the first round of the Nationwide's Children's Hospital Invitational. Dawie's round consisted of 5 birdies, 6 pars and 7 bogeys on what was a difficult day on the Scarlet course at The Ohio St. University. The average score today was about +5 in very windy conditions. If Dawie can shoot anywhere around par tomorrow, he should easily make the cut.
AggiesAreWe Posted July 14, 2007 Author Report Posted July 14, 2007 Dawie shot 75 in the second round, finishing 2 rounds at 148, +6, missing the cut by 2 shots. He was set to make the cut with 4 holes left but then played the last 4 holes in 4 over par to squash any hopes of making the cut.
