Hornet hive are you typing drunk???? Last post is hard to follow.

All the talk is fun and gets the kids and adults hyped up but you still need to play the games. Last year Anahuac was predicted to be a playoff team and they had a tough year, so you can not count anyone out untill they lose a few district games. Non-District games do not count, because every school does not play the same non-district schedules. See ya at district end and I hope all will be happy to talk about their predictions. Here are mine and if I'm wrong I'll be on here Friday night after the last scheduled distict game.

The team with the most wins gets distict title. (Just kiddin')

1-Buna/East Chambers

3-Kountze/Anahuac

5-Deweyville/Warren/Hardin

I dont know why everybody thinks East Chambers is automatically going to win District easy, if i recall

Buna, Deweyville, Warren gave EC a run for there money,

Buna had an chance but we always play horrible in the 1st half, we was down 21-7 at Halftime,

Deweyville, gave EC a run for there money, but came up short

Warren, almost beat EC the problem was all there players play both ways and get tired. So really its anybodys District Title,

No offense towards EC, yall are a good team and all and yall will always be a great football team, but yall in for a fight. Buna, Deweyville, Anahuac, and Warren will be looking for yall. Dont count out Hardin and Kountze they will probably play too. but deep down. 24-2A will be in a war

DP#1 is one of the most unbiased individuals on this forum...go back and check his previous post, they are well written and respect is always given.

DP#1 Fan, i respect you but you didnt have to tell people who im am. I wonder about you, I know two people from Deweyville and thats Dwight Bickham and Darin Fletcher.

    • I too, wish #15 was healthy and playing.  And also another RB (can't recall the #), who went down in the first game of the season. But, some others have stepped up and are hard runners.  I'm really looking forward to watching this game.
    • Still, from what little I saw, it should have been a much closer game.  WOS was missing some fundamentals on defense, and a lack of imaginative play calling on offense.  Just my opinion as an objective observer on Texan Live, which was horrible btw, but that's another story.
    • Either way,one game lead in the series. I rely to much on word of mouth
    • West Orange Stark has been a powerhouse since I csn remember. At some point, your bound to fall off to some degree. Alabama has 3 or 4 loses this season. Who would have thought? Has Orange lost kids to LCM or even Orangefield?
    • Interesting matchup this Friday. Both teams have very good offensive and defensive lines, which will make this game interesting. Having watched Texas High all season, they have a wide open offense with very good skill players. If you look at their stats they run the ball 57% of the time and pass 43% of the time. Personally, that is a bit deceiving, as most of their games have seen reserves running the ball in the 4th quarter. I would estimate the primary offense is 50/50. Through 12 games they have run for 3,224 yds (48tds) and passed for 2,894 yds (32 yds). Potter, the Tiger QB, has been very efficient with a 69% completion rate and 1 interception (which came from a tipped pass). The passing is distributed primarily to 4 receivers…. Ball (865), Wrightner (811), Montgomery (532), & Pilgreen (392). The rushing comes from 3 running backs … Johnson (1,432), Ball (768) & Moore (716).  The Tiger defense is solid and very quick.    Hope #15 is healthy enough to play. He is a test for any defense. I was concerned about the Nederland RB, but felt Texas High did a good job containing him. I wish this game was in the afternoon, as Nachitoches is having their Festival of Lights and their will not be any rooms in the inns and restaurants will be full so plan accordingly. PNG are state champions until someone knocks them off, so I extend the Indians the respect they deserve. Pulling for the Tigers.
