AirForce84 Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 :-[ Sorry, southeast texas, my bad.
bullets13 Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 i'm pretty sure i'm going to be getting some playing time for the lakers next year. kobe demanded that i be added to the team or else he was leaving.
Kountzer Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 I saw Stephen Jackson and PA Lincoln play against Silsbee in the region III championship in '95. That was his Jr. year. The next year he was at Oak Hill Academy. That was the 1st time I'd heard of the place.
NeverSayDie Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 There was a kid on the Lincoln team with Steven Jackson that was a senior. Was suppose to go to Tulane. Played in the post. Does anyone remember him, if so what ever came of him?
bigd92 Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Keith Harris was his name and he graduated from Tulane after completin 4 great seasons with the Green Wave.
baller001 Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 with all the talent in this area you would figure we would have mroe than 2 players in the NBA
tabasco Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 J. Brown from Memorial maybe the third if you wanna throw him in the mix.
shorttexas1 Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 I wonder will Keena Young or Clearence Mathews tryout. Both kids had great college campaigns.
CraigS Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 with all the talent in this area you would figure we would have mroe than 2 players in the NBA I guess I'm more of a realist than most people in the GT. In every sport, every year.......everyone talks about whos going to win state, who's going pro, Lamar needs to sign more local talent, etc.........do any of you get out of the GT? We do have some decent players and teams, and YES and occasional state champion in any given sport. Do the math on how many Hiesman trophy winners FAIL in the NFL........just because we are good year in and year out in our local respective districts, or have an occasional Div I player.......does NOT mean we rule Texas.......Much less the professional ranks!
Guest DickVitale Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 Keena Young (Ozen 03) and Brandon Chappell (Ozen 02) are playing professionally in Europe....Brandon's picture is on the side of buses and a few billboards there too!! ..Both of these young men were great kids and I am very proud of them both, along with Kendrick...They represented us well!!

The kid went to Vegas and did his thing in front of the scouts. I'm really proud of him.
