KFDM COOP Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 kogtThe BCLL 9-10 yr old Girls Softball team won Sectional Championship this week in Kountze. They defeated Lumberton 9-3. The girls will travel to the State Tournament on July 21 in Seguin. The team will be raising funds to help with travel and lodging expenses this week at area intersections and storefronts. Anyone who would like to donate to this group can contact Sharla Cormier at (409) 738-2977 or Edye Patterson at (409) 779-4727 to make arrangements. Pictured are team members: Dani Patterson, Kellyn Cormier, Alicia Smith, Kaleigh Carter, Hannah Carpenter, Harleigh Myers, Haley Mills, Skylar Kahla, Samantha Ayre, Brooke Derouen, Bailey Bacon and Alexus Henry. Coaches are Sam Ayre, Keith Cormier (Asst.) and Troy Derouen (Asst.). The team is managed by Julie Kahla.
