I personally am not worried about Kirbyville.  My projected finish in the district is WOS, Silsbee, K-ville.  To be the king of the district, you have to beat the kings of the district.  I think K-Ville will make the playoffs and just might make some noise along with WOS and Silsbee.

Seems that I remember that two of their players who were on the field when I watched them play BC and Silsbee were Hazelwood and Rhodes, both of them offensive impact players. I did not notice any defensive standouts.

If they play as they did last year and get some help on defense then they will do well in the district.  But, without a steady defense you will come close to getting beat in 2 or 3 games and losing in the playoffs.

Bad as I hate to say it, It happened to the Tigers last year and unless you added more offensive studs you're defense better be a lot better.

I couldn't agree more. You can't give up 25 points a game and expect to come out on top in a district like this one - not with the kind of offenses that teams like Silsbee, WO-S and Jasper will bring to the table most years. I don't think you can expect to beat all of them in a shootout, especially considering that their defenses - usually - are stout.

oh ok #24 huh? lol

well mr. 24 you have set urself up for one heck of a tiger/mustang/bulldog beating

you know what sucks for ya'll is that for those teammates that you have that are good sports and play respectable football, you have pretty much labeled k-ville as the wrst for sportsmanship and everyone in our district is out to get you.

i honestly feel bad for and when you line up against the monster teams you play in silsbee, jasper, and wo-s.

good luck 24

In all likelihood, there's no #24. In fact, a Kirbyville player came on and said there is no #24, and balla has been missing in action since. He's a coward and a liar. I feel bad for Kirbyville, because this rube has been doing his best to represent them online, and the players from schools like WO-S and Silsbee are hearing it.

He means well? He just threw out a number and made threats using that number. Someone might have that number. I know that - at the very least - some of our players read his mess. It will only fire them up more.

He might not be the devil, but he doesn't "mean well." He's not hurting us, he's hurting YOUR team.

    • naw, maaaaybe 7, definitely not 8 deep.  today im avoiding sitting by #10s parents, had to move away yesterday.   "put my son back in jub, put my son back in"  and then crying on every little touch of someone.    lets ball out today ktz!
    • Very close game until the 2nd half (mostly the 4th) when Orangefield came unraveled. Worse defensive effort I have seen out of the Bobcats in three years. This team has to get back on D and quit getting beat over the top when pressing. Offensively, non ball handlers continually turn it over and their shot selection is poor. Basic basketball, such as: defensive hustle, boxing out, and taking care of the basketball are the areas the Bobcats need to work on most. Whitmire will get them on point, but he shouldn't have to coach effort at the Varsity Level.  We'll be at McnNeese this Friday night at 6pm.
    • I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an easy and obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.
    • 1 thing for certain. Coach Earned 3 more years to figure it out lol
