its the best area in the state...although deep east texas is pretty good.  the whole state is good lol

Talent and support is one of the best. One problem now days compared to the 80's and 90's is other areas of the State (schools) are growing and we really are not. This shows in the playoffs, especially the last few years.

With 16 billion dollars of new plants and plant expansions in SETX over the next 48 months, it will generate 15,000 new jobs and bring in 60,000 to 80,000 new residence. All schools in the  Setx area will grow a little and possibly get some move in athletes.

I have a hard time believing that 15k construction workers (if there are that many) are going to bring in up to 80k new residents. Most construction workers do not migrate with their families to a new job. They come from either aliens or coastal states and drive home on the weekends or a few times a year. There may be some increase in students but I think if anything, the number will be very small and have no impact on the local schools.

Yes, but 4 years is quite a while. it may be possible to bring to AT MOST 60,000 people to the area.

also, there will be suppliers and other business that will move in to support this expansion. Anyway if we on get a permanent resident move in of 15,000 over the next 4 years that's better being stagnant like we have been for the last 50 years. It can only help.

Personally, East Texas has the numbers, SETX has the athletes.
