I had recorded the game.  Just watched this morning.   Gunter has extremely fast Team speed, and someone on that Staff knows how to teach blocking.  Another impressive thing was how well disciplined both teams were.  How great to watch a game with very few flags, and no unsportsmanlike conduct.  I only remember two off the line of scrimmage, and one was because PP was trying to rush because Time was running out.  Hats off to both Teams and Coaches.

Would like to see a repeat in the La Vega vs Carthage game, but I’m not going to hold my breath.  😄

An example of LV being labeled dirty there.  RB for LV makes a nice run & gets an Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty at end of play.  No sense in that.

Hard enough to beat a team like Carthage without shooting yourself in the foot.

I wouldn't classify that as a dirty play. Just some frustration.

You’re probably right, but at that point, I can’t see any reason for the frustration.  He’d made a good run.

Being classified as a "dirty" team would involve cheap shots to harm other players. Pushing, shoving and jawing isn't dirty.
