The races have been divided since 1787. C’mon man, at least acknowledge our country’s history.

You are correct.

Way more minorities on welfare.

Easier to get a job as a minority - EEOC mandates and preference given

Easier to get a Government contract if you are minority owned or female owned

The most discriminated group are middle aged white men -

Those are facts

If there wasn’t a history of hiring discrimination in our country, EEOC would not be needed.

if there wasn’t a long history of minority business discrimination not only in contract awards, but bank lending as well, that law would not be necessary.

Finally, I’m in that last group,  and boy, did we have a hell of a run. History indeed pays back.

There are plenty of laws on the books that are not necessary.   Take a look at the Community ReInvestment Act ( largely responsible for the sub prime mortgage crisis of 2008) .  It had huge unintended consequences.  Same happens when they pass laws such as taxing soft drinks.  Some cities woke up and found unemployment up due to people being laid off from soft drink companies and related businesses and total revenues actually less than when soft drinks weren't being extra heavily taxed.  Several states are teetering on the brink of insolvency and one need not investigate too far to find excessive taxes and excessive regulations as the culprits.

We did.  I'm 62 and on my way out.  My son is an engineer - not much competition except for females in EE or CE.  ME and Arch. etc... mostly white males.

Debate appears to be a dead language.

If you’re on the wrong side of a debate, and have zero chance of winning, yes, debate is a dead language.   Attempting to support Socialism to people that love freedom, is like making an assertion that there is human life on Mercury.   You can rattle on, but it just ain’t so.
