Huffman didn’t have the year they had hoped for last season in class 4A. The Falcons went 3-7 and just 1-6 in district 21-4A play. Huffman has a solid group of returners that will hope to make an impact in 4A this year.

Key Wins Last Year:

Santa Fe (26-21)

Forest Brook (27-25)

Last Year’s Scores:

Huffman 40 Houston Scarborough 7

Houston Wheatley 18 Huffman 14

Huffman 26 Santa Fe 21

New Caney 49 Huffman 28

Galena Park 49 Huffman 7

Houston Smiley 10 Huffman 7

Huffman 27 Forest Brook 25

Barbers Hill 45 Huffman 13

Crosby 36 Huffman 0

C.E. King 28 Huffman 25

Offensive Summary

Huffman returns 4 starters from an offense that averaged 23 points per game last year. Look for RB Tyler Pate to get plenty of carried this season for the Falcons. The offensive lineman will be led by Justin Jones and Kyle Hobizal. We also expect TE Jesse Nash to have a productive 2007 season. If the Falcon offense can put points on the board this year we expect them to have a chance in every game.

Other Offensive Impact Players:

Kyle Meadows (WR)

Raymond Henderson (WR)

Defensive Summary

The Falcons welcome back 7 starters from a defensive unit that gave up 29 points per game in 2006. The Huffman defense should be very tough this year, led by the linebacking crew of OLB Ryan Latour, OLB Steven Morales and MLB Aaron Chandler. Huffman’s secondary will be very solid in 2007. FS Jeffry Schmidt and DB Brad Ballard will be the leaders. The Falcon defense should be able to keep them in the game throughout the 2007 season.

Other Defensive Impact Players:

Josh Gallegos (DL)

Adrian Falcon (DL)
