Hefner will be fine and will continue to be the overrated player that EVERY team Nederland plays game plans around. He will get his and put lots of players on posters (or hudl highlights) his remaining HS games. 
And Hefner doesn’t need to be asked to do so much on the team, he has plenty of experienced teammates that could be used in roles...but that’s another thread 😬

I'm the one that said Facts, but if you go back and look, I said Facts to the athletic statement, not best player.  Yes, I believe my list I had him high in the list, but I believe the PA kids, 2 United kids, and the Silsbee kid was higher.  No biggie though.

To name a few, Bush, Kason, Hayden, JR...

but they aren’t the only fantastic athletes from our area...

A big difference is that Weisbrod had good players around him who could create and shoot.

Lol no one has a problem with them getting scholarships...the problem is when people give them more credit than they deserve and they don’t show it against the superior comp.

Looked more like an opinion to me, guess it depends on your definition of personal shot.
