I have a gut feeling lumberton will play their best game this so far this season tomorrow nightĀ

A competitive game is better for everybody but it doesn't seem likely.Ā  They lost by 5 at home to a team that lost at home to Silsbee by 30.

It's really almost mathematical.Ā  You have to have a height and inside muscle advantage over Silsbee.Ā  The Tigers are about the best small team I've seen.Ā Ā

The way it plays out is that Lumberton will be able to hang in there in the first half, may go in down by as little as 6.Ā  After the break the Tigers will slowly and methodically inch away.Ā  The lead will be 25 or so when they call it off with 3 or 4 minutes left.Ā  And after that the lead could even increase because the Tiger cubs are pretty good in their own right.Ā  If you're looking for predictions that's mine.Ā

But if I'm wrong and the Raiders put up a real fight that's great.Ā  It won't hurt my feelings at all.

There is a joker in the deck.Ā  Progress reports come out today.

Spot on!! The Raiders best player according to some on the board is #24, if this is true heā€™ll most likely be matched up against the Tigers Martin. I have to give the decided edge to Silsbee in that matchup. Head to head the rest of the matchups arenā€™t close. I donā€™t think progress reports will affect either club.Ā

On the bright side for the Raiders, they don't have to worry about stopping number 5 (Adams) this year.Ā

Should get a healthy dose of Cartwight/Martin though.

And it kills me because Cartwright, Martin and Taylor areĀ my Silsbee boys, even made a Silsbee shirt for football playoffs with their names on itĀ ugh! Can we just skip this game lol

    • I donā€™t benefit from it, thatā€™s not my area. Ā But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway. Ā These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but Iā€™m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So whatā€™s the point? Ā We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime? Ā And I donā€™t know I can say we have ā€œcomplicatedā€ it. Which appeal should we cut out? Ā Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck? Ā Or do we not pay for an indigent personā€™s experts at the trial court level because itā€™s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they werenā€™t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we havenā€™t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money? Ā Seems to me to be an easy and obvious solution but Iā€™m more of a pragmatist.
    • 1 thing for certain. Coach Earned 3 more years to figure it out lol
    • @CIS_orgĀ National Security Senior Fellow @BensmanToddĀ tells Steve Bannon how the U.S. State Department and USAID have been sending American taxpayer funds to religious nonprofits to facilitate mass immigration to our southern border. Bensman says 248 nonprofits are participating in the United Nationsā€™ 2024 agenda to distribute $1.6 billion in cash, transportation, food, and shelter to U.S.-bound immigrants across Mexico and Latin America.
