Woden doesn’t play football and had forever to practice and get their legs under them. So that makes them a good team if they beat a team that had been playing playoff football for 5 weeks? SA had played 6 games prior to the first Woden game. Had been practicing and playing for three weeks. Dec. 26-28 - Tenaha Holiday Hoops Elysian Fields, 70-42 Atlanta, 40-64 Tenaha JV, 62-35 Lipan, W Garrison, 41-50 Dec. 30 - Hemphill, 56-53 Jan. 3 - at Woden, 38-40* If Woden isn't all that good, shouldn't have SA beat them at home by more than 10? no-look
Didn’t Woden beat Lufkin Hudson a few weeks ago?
Football45
Have to admit any school that plays just basketball has a huge advantage. More games played more pratice time. It goes along ways just look at the 1a and 2a ranks. SA is probly one of the top 3 most athletic teams in all of 2a and give them just basketball and they would be a monster. Woden Broaddus Many more small schools should be dominating. Imo Mr. Buddy Garrity

It takes more than three weeks to get in basketball shape. Most if not all played 15 games of football. How many did Woden play? Arent they fresh. Do they have to wait on injured players?
