Wow.  A barn burner.  Lumberton had to win this game and they did.  Great effort by both teams.

Lumberton 51, LCM 50.  Bears led by Jackson Smith with 16, Jesse Doucette 12.  Bears fall to 15-14 (4-4).  We'll be at Bridge City on Friday.

This makes the race for 3rd and 4th place in district very interesting. Lumberton and HF seem to be on the rise where as BC and LCM on the decline, but who knows how the rest of the year is going to end up. Because WOS is still hanging around to upset someone.

They have the same district record as Lumberton after last night. Not sure how any tiebreakers would work at this point.

According to the standings thread, LCM is a half game ahead of Lumberton due to LCM already having their bye the second round of district.  LCM is in third and Lumberton is in 4th.

It's not as wide open as most think.  Unless HF beats Silsbee and HJ (ain't happening) they can only tie Lumberton or Little Cypress.  And that's only if those teams lose out (ain't happening).  Now West Orange Cove still has a shot at it, but it seems rather long at this point too.
