SETXBaseball Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 CONGRATS TO LCM.. WILL THEY BEAT THE SCHOOL RECORD WITH 18 straight wins thats pretty impressive. Most will think they will i wanna hear a few comments
Bobcatfan4life Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 Question is will LC-M play their starters or get their backups some playing time?
MIF04 Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 They'll play to win. They've got 2 warmup games to get everyone in, etc. They may throw more than 1 or 2 pitchers, though
Bobcatfan4life Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 True, they'll want that undefeated district slate.
retired76 Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 Well last year Vidor did sneak up on LCM and beat them the last game of the year in district if im not mistaken.
NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 I say LCM wins this one easily and breaks the school record
adminbaberuth Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 LCM should take this one. This will be the second District Champ in a row to go undefeated during district play as Nederland went 12-0 last year. I was thinking this is pretty interesting stat but just realized that BC hasn't lost a district game in 2 years. It might be three as I can't remember that far. Does any other district have a champ undefeated in the last 2 years?

Lonewolf Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 Make it 3 years in a row the district champ went undeated. PNG went 16-0 in district and also won 36 games in a row. This is the year they went to state.
BigRedMachine Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 If i'm not mistaken Bridge City has lost only one district game since moving to 3a. I think the loss was the first year we dropped to 3a. Pretty sure it was Buna.
Coach 18 Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 You are correct! Buna beat BC the first time they played in Buna 7-2. Derek Blackshere pitched for BC and Chase Tucker pitched for Buna. Those were some pretty classy kids from the past.
hfaninthestands Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 I think BC lost in Hamshire in that same year....Jamey Knight misses homeplate on a homerun and ump calls him out..... Wow, how good are you when you have to go back 5 years to find a loss... amazing
Bears Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 I know the Boys are very proud of the streak, but they are really focused on the playoffs and want to keep the MOJO going.......so no let up tonight at all, Look for Ehlert to start on the bump.....only pitcher you will probably not see is Dugas who threw over 4inn. Tuesday.
retired76 Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 Well who will be in relief for the bears then, if it is a close game?
Bears Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 Womack,Adams,Cassidy........ ................ And if Coach Griff ask him to pitch I bet I know the answer........
use2baplaya Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Yea but look at 3a compared to 4a there are three power houses in 4a
