How do you explain sanctuary cities if Democrats oppose illegal immigration?

You do understand that sanctuary cities are not federal policy? Cities cannot overrule the Federal government. They are largely symbolic representations of compassion towards the downtrodden. I know you’ll have a field day with that one. Go for it.

They are not saying that.  They are providing sanctuary for illegals to shield them from ICE.  Many on the left are in favor of getting rid of ICE completely.
