You go beyond agitating. You instigate

I participate in a number of forums on a variety of topics. The moderators elsewhere are almostly always professional, and stay on the "high road" almost exclusivly, even if pushed. You do not. You even brag about agitating. You troll. You followed me to unrelated threads not too long ago just to troll me, totally unprovolked. Why start trouble??? You have often done this with others, and you bash others too, even when just sharing an opinion. Thats just sad for a moderator to do the very things they are supposed to be preventing. Its not a good look. It drives good people away. Don't be the "Silsbee Cyberbully". Try to be nice instead. You might enjoy life more.

My comment was purely a joke. Not bragging.

I will take the praise of many over the criticism of the few.

If the owner of the site doesn't have a problem with me, then I must be doing ok.

It’s obvious that you are just a troll. Because u are definitely not a student of basketball with this stuff u are spewing. HF got lucky to beat silsbee and HJ? HF got lucky to beat Livingston by 20 points? 😂😂😂 yeah I’ll let you continue oh and I obviously stated HJ and Huffman are the class of the district but you may not know what that means.

Not a troll. Just miffed by all this HF is now a great program talk.  This is almost as absurd as Rick James sitting down telling stories of how he hung out with Charlie Murphy. He's Rick James!

Y'all are Hampshire Fanette. Where you get the illusion of grandeur is mystifying, and most importantly, is unwarranted.

This whole line of reasoning is idiotic. One year doesn't make a dynasty.

RIP Rick James. RIP Charlie Murphy.

Im thinking top-3. They should be rolling into the playoffs next season undefeated in district.

Seems like they should still be really strong with those 3. Mr buddy’s probably correct. And with their coach I’d probably add a State Championship to his statement. Never know though. I don’t know what type of teams other 5A schools will be bringing back

I actually sympathized with all involved with Triple A.

It was the UIL that I and most others were angry about. They had no business playing in 1A classification.

Sometimes it is only an appearance that rules are being followed.  In this case, it took a two year investigation by a television station to uncover what really happened.

This is the hidden content, please

What was informative about the article that it happened in an urban area at an urban school, very unfortunate situation where a young man lost his life. But cmon you dont schools in the suburbs like Argyle, highland park or Bridgeport cheat it’ll never get brought to light i wonder wht, because they have money . It’s a game of have and have nots !!!

If you believe that, tell me why the investigative work was done by a TV station?

If schools are doing it, it's not to the extent of this. They left two teenagers by themselves to live in an apartment for athletic purposes. Now one can say that it would be the same as if they were in college, but a kid lost his life over a dumb video game. I dont think we will ever have anything like that in our area as all our schools are within close proximity of each other and most have legitimate family all over this area.

Those are good teams but neither are top 25 in state except maybe Crosby to my knowledge. United is top 10 in 6A this year. The biggest challenge to United in 5A region 3 would probably be PA Memorial depending on what they got coming back. If they make it to state they may have to deal with Lancaster.

It wouldnt have happened there if the rules and guidelines had been followed literally rather than figuratively

As successful as Argyle , Highland Park and Bridgeport are I would think they would be under a microscope by their DC. I’m sure they also check close on residency requirements. It’s a tragedy when two young lives were destroyed because a group of young men were exploited to play a high school game.

Hightower is state ranked and in the regional Tournament after beating PA Memorial and Crosby.

I don't like cheaters and I believe that the current coach is breaking rules.  The two transfers are really good players and always conducted themselves how they should, but I believe they were recruited to come to HF by the head coach.  I believe other students were recruited to HF that didn't come with them.  I believe that more students will be recruited by the coach to HF and eventually they will get HF in trouble. I know that you think your friend has a great coaching pedigree and reputation, but he is not Greg Wise and HF is not Yates.  Eventually it will hit the fan.  And I'll still be embarrassed of how HF is operating.

You’re right about that.  If Tigee coached at Yates there would be more hardware in the Third Ward.  Leaving recruiting out of it (which Yates does with the best of them), Wise isn’t exactly known for his Xs and Os.   And in game adjustments...fuhgeddaboutit.

And those of you who question Tigee’s reputation for coaching going into the HF job (and teaching for that matter), I guess it just must have not been well known in your circles.  Because in Beaumont, heck even in Houston, his coaching abilities have been widely respected and admired.  Like him or not, the dude can flat out coach.  He also has certainly ignited this message board which has been fun.  He is happy at HF and the kids and parents there love him.  I can just say if you don’t, you’re just going to have to deal with it.  HF hasn’t done anything that other schools in this area, and even that district, haven’t done for years.  It’s always funny when they get upset - hey who told you that you can do what we do?!?!?

So I think he will continue to be extremely successful at HF.  The only way I see him leaving would be to coach at the next level, and it wouldn’t shock me at all if that eventually happens.
