drich329 Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 Silsbee by 20+. Livingston didn't impress me when HF played em and won Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 Im shocked Livingston made the playoffs. Quote
BADSANTA Posted February 23, 2020 Author Report Posted February 23, 2020 If Silsbee can win the 1st two games, it would be a very good game vs Huffman in round 3. Quote

Setx fan Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 Should be the easiest win Silsbee’s had in a minute. I honestly thing BC could beat Livingston Quote
whsalum Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 Huffman is very well coached and will be fundamentally sound. I don’t think they will overlook anyone. Quote
BADSANTA Posted February 23, 2020 Author Report Posted February 23, 2020 I remember Huffman gave last years Tigers fits until about 5 minutes left in the 4th qtr. They had a kid about 6'2 who was like Barkley on the boards and 2 kids who could shoot lights out from deep. Very well coached team. Not that athletic but well coached for darn sure. whsalum 1 Quote

They are always well prepared and just don’t beat themselves. The post player graduated but they still have some shooters who can fill it up. Quote

Tigers94 Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 Guess Livingston just ain't what they used to be from when I was a kid. Back when them and Silsbee were in the same district, it seemed like they always had a lot of size and at least one or two kids that could jump out of the building. BADSANTA 1 Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 Livingston has played 2 common opponents with Silsbee. Lions lost to Hamshire-Fannett 52-35 and defeated WO-S 55-51. Both games were in the East Chambers Holiday tourney. Quote

Just like Cleveland, time have changed big time. Livingston use to have all the Jackson brothers (Shannon, Johnny, Bobby, etc) and Cleveland (Ivan William's, Andre Riscaino, Squirrel etc). Most of those families no longer live there I dont think. Some.of those guys are no longer living as well. Like I said, times have changed. Tigers94 1 Quote

Tigers94 Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 Yeah....I remember them having a big post player that used to give Silsbee fits. I think Ernest was his name, not 100 percent sure. Also had a kid that looked like Vince Carter in the dunk contest when they played us. Anyways, I'm glad Silsbee will be playing this modern version of Livingston. Still don't want them to look past anyone. Quote

Kountzer Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 Last time I saw a game at Lee College in Baytown Silsbee played a bi-district game vs Kashmere. Silsbee's starting back court was Elam, and Jordan Holmes. BADSANTA 1 Quote
