KFDM COOP Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 kogtFor the first time in Bridge City Little League history, the Pee-Wee Girls took the title of State Champions, winning the championship game 2-0 in Seguin. The girls were undefeated in tournament play with a 8-0 record. Kneeling left to right is Haley Mills and - Kellyn Cormier. Standing from left to right is Harleigh Myers, Samantha Ayre, Alexus Henry, Brooke Derouen, Alicia Smith, Skylar Kahla, Hannah Carpenter, Dani Patterson, and Bailee Bacon. Coaches of the team are Sam Ayre and Troy Derouen, and the team manager is Julie Kahla. The girls have dedicated their win to Kaleigh Carter, a team member who was not able to attend the state tournament with them due to an accident.
