LaMarque has been waiting for this particular game for over a year, when they were upset by B.T. Washington last year.  Can Jordan Ivy-Curry handle the pressure and multiple defenders and have enough energy to carry his team to a victory. 

Yates gets the win, and extends their 100 point streak to 21 games.

Graduation hit Silsbee very hard but it's not too far fetched to think that this year's team could make it just as far as last year's did.

That’s what made the Silsbee vs HJ seeding game such a crucial matchup. In the grand scheme of things there’s not a lot of difference in getting knocked out in the area round or the regional tournament. There’s no question the 22-4A runner up had a brutal draw in the area round this year. Yates is legit!!

It’s a difference you play in the game with a chance to go to state anything can happen

In most cases I would agree with you wholeheartedly. In region 3 this year Yates bus will have to break down for them not to be in the state tournament if they play like they have been playing.
