MIT Biologist Says Caronavirus Will Go Down As Biggest Fraud To Manipulate Economies!

As Hoops said, somewhere in the middle.   Here’s the Scenarios from my feeble mind.   If we take an (over?)abundance of precautions, we will reduce the death rate substantially.   Then the, “this ain’t nothing crowd” will scream - I told you so.   If you don’t take the precautions, Italy being an example, the death rate percentage will go way up, and Lynch mobs will be after you.

Monday morning QB’s gonna Monday morning QB regardless of what you do - Football, Politics, Pandemics, all same same.

Every day, we are bombarded with stats on Coronavirus. Since we are such a statistical society, why not, when each individual dies from this virus, his/her age is included along with whether or not they had a pre-existing condition, such as diabetes, coronary disease, chemo-patient, and the list goes on. I think that if we are to evaluate the situation with all information possible, we can come to a much better understanding and react accordingly.

Another opinion of mine is that if a person working retail is going to wear disposable gloves to deal with customers, they need to change gloves after every transaction or there is no sense in wearing them in the first place. Just an observation....trying to help.

I agree more information should be forthcoming.

Here is a good comparison.

This is the hidden content, please

Like Smashmouth pointed out, the total deaths far outweigh the percentages. See, I can post high death rate percentages for the plague, but how many people have it anymore? It is still around.

Mortality rates for treated individuals range from 1 percent to 15 percent for bubonic plague to 40 percent for septicemic plague. In untreated victims, the rates rise to about 50 percent for bubonic and 100 percent for septicemic.

When was the bubonic plaque prominent? What century?

When I first did the math a week or so ago, the numbers matched the flu death rate. I will admit that the rate has gone up since then. Being the optimist that I am, I like to say that there is a 98% survival rate. Doesn’t that sound better?

Who in your family are you willing to sacrifice?

The same number who could get exposed to the flu, which kills many more people every year than this virus.

Do you even read, or do you simply jump in with both feet?

How did you like the way your dim comrades blocked the stimulus package because it didn’t have anything in it for the green new deal, or significant raises for congress? See, when the American people can get money to keep them afloat during a crisis, the dims think of themselves first. Isn’t that what you are all about. Monies meant for the needy get siphoned off by the fat cat dims. You should be proud.

This is the point.  We can’t even come close to valid numbers at this stage due to the minimal testing which has been done. There have likely been way more people who have had it than we even know.

This is beyond the great hoax the amateur infectious disease “experts” were spouting even a few days ago.  It’s also likely way less than the gloom and doomers were preaching.   Like most things, the truth will likely be in the middle.

As I was told last week by a couple of different friends who are in the field, some of us will get it, and almost everyone will know several people who contract it.  And most will even know someone who didn’t survive it.  But we will get past it.  It just likely won’t be as soon as most hope.

Well, I’ve known 3 people in the last week to 10 days who have died and one of those has their spouse still in the hospital on a vent.  Quite a hoax...

Yep. Definitely not a hoax. I pray for them and their families. Condolences to all.
Here are some important questions though:

How did they get it? Did they wear masks? Limit their exposure?

How old and/or frail were they? What underlying conditions did they possess?

Did any of them receive the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, zinc and z pack before or after exposure?

Could they or doctors done anything differently to allow them to survive this sickness?

The death mortality rate is well under 1% for the United States. IMO I think he’s right in his prediction. IMO the way States have put in draconian measures to manage the virus is a hoax. Think about it, when in U.S history have we ever quarantined 95 percent of the population which was healthy? Uh....Never! I understand the high risk population being quarantined which is probably 5 to 10 percent of the population. The MIT guy is not far off IMO.

It’s not a hoax, it’s an overreaction.

2% of Hardin County has tested positive. With ten deaths to date (10/48,000 residents) its already wiped out 0.00020833 of the population here.

CardinalBacker, how dare you utilize data that doesn't fit the narrative!  You utilized long division, oh the horror. You've gone rogue.

Don't you know the motto?  We have to do something!  Doesn't matter if it makes sense to do so, we simply must do something.

Remember what Rahm Emmanual (socialist that worked for clinton and obama) said:  " never let a good crisis go to waste!"   I wonder what he meant by that?!
