HORNET_HIVE72 Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 Is there anybody that doesnt feel comfortable with there districts? If so why do yall not feel comfortable?
Silsbee92 Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 Not me. I would rather play in a competitive district all the time. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose... :-\I beleive that a tough district builds character and mental toughness which you will need to become a champion. I for one don't know how them Stangs' can stand themselves... winning all them games like that. Must be tough when they lose one.. : ;D ;D
1971Coogs Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 how do you spell their ??? I hope that is just a typo
HORNET_HIVE72 Posted August 9, 2007 Author Report Posted August 9, 2007 well said silsbee. I think that it is good to play in a competitive district as well. But it does feel alot better when you win that district you know.
tvc184 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 how do you spell their ??? I hope that is just a typoWatch out, the Spelling Nazis have arrived! ;D

wos08 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 Better to be in a strong district than weakStrong prepares you for playoffsWeak gets you clobbered in the playoffs
tvc184 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 Strong prepares you for playoffsWeak gets you clobbered in the playoffsSo is it better to sit and home and wish for the playoffs or better to be in them and get beat?
Silsbee92 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 So is it better to sit and home and wish for the playoffs or better to be in them and get beat? Getting beat is tough to swallow, but getting clobbered or embarrassed is a whole other story. Would not want to see my team get clobbered in the playoffs, ever.
tvc184 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 Getting beat is tough to swallow, but getting clobbered or embarrassed is a whole other story. Would not want to see my team get clobbered in the playoffs, ever.I'd rather ride in the rodeo and get thrown rather than not ride at all but to each their own.I wonder how Lumberton fans feel about it. Would anyone from Lumberton rather just skip their chance at a first ever playoff game because you might get clobbered?
HORNET_HIVE72 Posted August 10, 2007 Author Report Posted August 10, 2007 i'd rather be in the playoffs and get beat. I would rather win. But if we got beat thats hard to swallow. But we will swallow it and get on and ready for the next season.
cardinal81o7 Posted August 10, 2007 Report Posted August 10, 2007 from the words of a wise baseball coach in bc :"if you get invited to the party you still got a chance to dance w/ a pretty girl"
hfaninthestands Posted August 10, 2007 Report Posted August 10, 2007 But if we got beat thats hard to swallow. But we will swallow it wow, just wow.... :-[
