kerusso Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 I was wondering why BC had no one 2nd team or H.M. but then I went back and counted those on 1st team or individual winners.

Walk-off Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 So why would you have 18 players on 1st team including several who never played the position they were picked.......How can that be........

I think this has to do with the direction of 'everybody is a winner' my nephew ran in a 7th grade track meet...finished last in the 3rd heat....only 3 people ran in the slowest heat....he got a 3rd place ribbon... dumb IMHO
Guest BALLPLAYER Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 This all goes back to Hillary Clinton's famous words "it takes a village to raise a child" they are all alike
Walk-off Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 Having 8 1st team players makes you a coach of the year......
TexasBBfan Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 Do they go by stats? Do all teams HAVE to place someone on this team? Pitcher on 1st team and pitcher on 2nd team did not have good enough year to be on these teams. No , i do not have a kid that throws. As for as position players, Ist team is watered down in a couple of spots. Reminds me of little league all stars!!!!! These are my opinions which mean absolutly nothing. I am moving on now. Ready to watch some playoff ball. Good luck BC, HJ, and HF
