I hate the fact that if they get voted out, they still get a lifetime salary. If they are no longer serving us, they should have to go out and get a real job.

I think it should be as originally intended by the constitution. They get per diem basically. The country changed for the worse when Congress started getting a salary. Serving the nation should be exactly that, a service.
