Robinson took a summer trip to Las

Vegas for a Main Event Basketball

Tournament that included 600

teams.

      Robinson played for Rashad

Lewis' team, which recruits top

players in Southeast Texas

throughout the four-day tournament.

Lewis plays for the NBA's Orlando Magic.

      Robinson combined for 25 points, including game-winning 3-

pointers. The Silsbee junior has played in several tournaments this

summer, including tournaments in Austin, Houston, Denton, Tyler

and College Station.

      Robinson received all-dsitrict honors this past season with

Silsbee and was the most valuable player of the Lufkin

Tournament last season. He was named among the Beaumont

Enterprise's Super Gold Team and was among the top 20 players

in Southeast Texas at point guard.

      Shannon extended his gratitude to Coach Ricky Johnson and

the Rashad Lewis Foundation for making this summer's

tournament experience possible.
