Lew Ford, so far a regular list maker, went 1 for 3, had a double, one rbi and walked twice.  Lew is now at .379 in his last 8 games for AAA Rochester......

Jay Bruce, also a 1 for 3 day, also had a double, and also drove in a run.  In his 35 games with the AAA Bats, Jay stands at .307 and has hit safely in 8 of his last 9 games..........

Cody Strait, in continuation of a very productive August, went 2 for 4 while driving in a run.  Cody is batting .346 this month with 11 of his 18 hits going for extra bases.......

Kyle Stutes saw 1.1 innings, on Wednesday, did not allow a run, walked one and k'ed another.  In AA San Antonio, Kyle has a 2.25 era with 2 saves in 10 games.......

Derek Blacksher, also on the hill, put in 1 inning of work, walked a batter and k'ed 2 to earn his 6th save in 12 games.  Derek has a 0.61 era for the GCL Marlins..........
